About the role
We’re strengthening our UX team with a User Researcher based in Stockholm, Sweden. You’ll report to the UX Director and work closely with designers and researchers in both Sweden and India.
This will be a fixed term contract role for a period of 12 months where you’ll take the lead on major research initiatives and manage the day-to-day research function.
You’ll play a key role in shaping how research drives product decisions across the platform — from traceability and risk screening to supplier collaboration and AI-first workflows.
What you will do
Foundational User Research- Conduct interviews, usability tests, and contextual inquiries to uncover user needs and behaviors.
- Synthesize insights into actionable recommendations for designers, PMs, and engineers.
- Share findings through engaging, decision-driving formats that promote alignment.
- Use AI tools to accelerate discovery, synthesize feedback, and surface patterns from interviews, analytics, and support data.
- Build feedback loops and micro-studies directly into product workflows.
- Deliver real-time insights through collaborative formats like FigJam, Teams, and GPT-style research repositories.
- Work with product, design, and engineering to shape discovery efforts and validate concepts.
- Influence product priorities and development cycles with timely, relevant user insights.
- Manage and grow our research participant pool, especially among Asian suppliers and manufacturers.
- Support localization, outreach, and screening efforts for interviews and surveys.
- Develop repeatable tools, templates, and research methods to improve efficiency.
- Mentor designers and PMs in lightweight, scalable research practices.
- Conduct interviews, usability tests, and contextual inquiries to uncover user needs and behaviors.
Who you might be
- 4–6 years of applied user research experience, ideally with B2B SaaS or enterprise platforms.
- Familiarity with supply chain, compliance, or traceability domains is a strong advantage.
- Comfortable using AI-enabled research tools and eager to explore new technologies.
- Skilled at delivering fast, actionable insights — not reliant on long reports.
- Experience working across time zones in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
- Bonus: Proficiency in Mandarin, Cantonese, or other Asian languages, or past research experience in Asia-based manufacturing contexts.
