About the role
As a UX Designer, you will create intuitive, user-centered digital experiences that drive business results. You'll design innovative interfaces that balance customer needs with business objectives. This role is ideal for a creative, detail-oriented professional with a strong grasp of UX principles and a proven record of delivering impactful design solutions.
We're also looking for someone who treats AI as part of their default design toolkit, using it confidently for exploration, prototyping, and spec work, with the judgment to know when to lean on it and when to push back.
What you will do
End-to-End UX Design: Drive the UX design process for multiple projects, from initial concept to final implementation. Ensure that all designs are user-centered and contribute to business objectives.
User Research: Collaborate with UX researchers to gather user insights and apply research findings to inform design decisions. Ensure that user feedback is integrated throughout the design process.
Wireframing and Prototyping: Create wireframes, prototypes, and interaction models that clearly communicate design ideas and functionality. Use AI tools to compress the cycle from idea to working prototype where it makes sense.
Visual Design: Develop visually appealing interfaces that enhance the overall user experience. Ensure visual elements are consistent with brand standards and contribute to a cohesive user experience.
Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to ensure UX designs are implemented accurately and effectively. Advocate for the user at every stage of the product development lifecycle.
Design Systems: Contribute to the development and upkeep of design systems and standards, ensuring consistency across platforms and projects.
Usability Testing: Plan and conduct usability tests to evaluate the effectiveness of design solutions. Use data-driven insights to refine designs and improve the overall user experience.
AI-Assisted Design Workflow: Use AI as a default part of your design process: for exploration, copywriting, synthesis, prototyping, and spec generation. Apply designer judgment on top of AI output rather than accepting it as-is.
Stakeholder Communication: Present design concepts and solutions to stakeholders, clearly explaining how design choices meet both user needs and business goals.
Continuous Learning: Stay up to date with UX trends, tools, and techniques (including the AI tooling landscape) and bring new ideas into the team.
AI Competencies
AI is part of how we design, not a side experiment. We expect every designer to be comfortable using it as a collaborator, with the judgment to direct it well.
Core Capabilities (Must-haves)
Comfortable using AI for design exploration, copywriting, and spec generation as default workflow, not novelty.
Can write a clear, scoped prompt that gets useful output without heavy iteration.
Distinguishes between "help me think," "produce this output," and "spec this for engineers", and chooses the right mode.
Understands when AI output needs designer judgment applied on top, and isn't afraid to throw it out.
Familiar with at least one AI-native product pattern (copilot, suggestions, confidence UI, progressive disclosure, etc.).
Strong signal (What makes yous stand out)
Has designed UX for AI features, not just used AI in their process.
Can produce developer-ready specs or structured outputs that reduce back-and-forth with engineering.
Thinks about AI handoff: what stays human, what gets automated, where the edge cases are.
Has experimented with agentic or multi-step AI flows.
Can articulate the design tradeoffs of AI transparency, progressive disclosure, and trust-building in UI.
Tracks the AI tooling frontier (WebMCP, A2UI protocols, Figma MCP, Cursor, claude code) and has opinions on what's worth adopting.
Who you might be
Bachelor's degree in User Experience Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Graphic Design, or a related field.
3-5 years of UX design experience (or equivalent demonstrated experience), with a strong portfolio showcasing a range of user-centered design projects (ideally B2B SaaS) products.
Proficiency in UX design tools, including wireframing, prototyping, and visual design software (Figma or similar).
Experience in conducting and applying user research insights to design.
Strong visual design skills with attention to detail and a commitment to excellence and accessibility (WCAG standard).
Working fluency with AI design tools and the ability to apply designer judgment on top of AI output (see AI Competencies above).
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with experience working in cross-functional teams.
Experience maintaining design systems.
Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
Passion for UX design and staying current with industry trends.
What We Offer
The opportunity to lead impactful design work in a purpose-driven global scale-up accelerating sustainable transformation in fashion.
A collaborative, innovative, and inclusive team culture where your ideas are valued.
The space to explore and shape new tools and methods - including AI - that evolve our craft and improve team workflows.
A hybrid work model with flexible working arrangements.
A full-time consultant agreement for 6 month with potential to extension.
