About the Role
As we are scaling significantly, we need to expand our efforts and ensure we have a strong local understanding and collaboration in our key markets. As a Field Marketing Manager for North America you will play a crucial role in developing and executing localized marketing strategies to increase brand awareness, support our sales efforts and generate leads. You will be responsible for our regional marketing, PR and event strategy and plan, and for building relationships with key stakeholders.
While you are responsible for your region, we are all about teamwork and knowledge-sharing, and you will work closely with your colleagues in the regional and global sales team, as well as digital & content marketing, communications, graphic design and product, as well as agencies and other partners.
Key areas of responsibilities
Establishing TrusTrace as the recognized leader in supply chain traceability and compliance data management. This includes:
- Develop and execute regional marketing plans in collaboration with local sales and corporate marketing.
- Drive lead generation: Implement lead generation campaigns and initiatives to increase awareness, generate qualified leads, and support the sales team's efforts. Monitor campaign performance and optimize strategies for maximum effectiveness.
- Coordinate and execute events: Plan, organize, and execute regional events such as trade shows, conferences, seminars, and user group meetings. Manage all aspects of event logistics, including budgeting, vendor coordination, content creation, booth setup, and post-event follow-up.
- Content creation and localization: Collaborate with the content marketing team to develop localized marketing collateral, including emails, landing pages, social media content, and sales enablement materials. Ensure consistent messaging and branding across all marketing channels.
- Relationship building: Establish and maintain relationships with key customers, partners, industry influencers, and local organizations to promote TrusTrace and drive customer engagement. Identify and pursue co-marketing opportunities to expand our reach in the region.
- Market analysis and reporting: Monitor regional market trends, competitive landscape, and customer insights. Provide regular reports on marketing campaign performance, ROI, and key learnings. Use data-driven insights to optimize marketing strategies.
- Cross-functional collaboration: Work closely with the sales team to align marketing activities with their objectives, support their initiatives, and provide necessary marketing materials and tools. Collaborate with product management to gather market feedback and contribute to product positioning.
Who are you?
You are a goal oriented, positive thinker that understands how strong brand communication will drive awareness, consideration, preference and ultimately sales growth. You thrive building stories and giving them legs and are comfortable talking about a wide range of topics such as net zero targets, transparency and traceability, ethics in fashion, sustainable retailing and ethical sourcing.
You have excellent written and oral communication skills in English, and love both crafting strategies and the getting into the nitty gritties of a perfectly executed event.
As a team player you are humble, you inspire people around you, and you are used to putting the team first. You are eager to drive change and break new grounds. As we are a software company, being tech savvy doesn’t hurt, either.
You have
- A degree or the equivalent in communication and/or marketing
- Minimum 5 years of experience in marketing communications and events
- Proven experience in field marketing, preferably in SaaS or B2B technology and/or fashion
- Strong understanding of full-funnel marketing strategy and execution, from driving awareness to generating demand and leads.
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple campaigns and events simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Familiarity with marketing automation platforms, CRM systems, and digital marketing tools.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- A creative, innovative, and fast mind
- Data-driven mindset with proficiency in analyzing campaign performance metrics and making data-backed decisions.
- Experience in collaborative working relationships with multiple agencies and stakeholders
- Native or excellent English in speaking and writing.
- Willingness to travel regularly within the US and Canada.

This role is a full time employment based in New Jersey.
The base salary for this position is in the range of $90, 000 - $120,000 salary will be determined based on education, experience, location and role.
