About the role

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development Executive with 2-5 years of experience to join our fast-growing SaaS company in the product traceability and compliance segment.
As a Business Development Executive, you will play a crucial role in generating leads, engaging with customers, and jointly develop solutions to drive business growth. Your ability to build relationships will be essential in creating the right solutions and expanding our customer base.
The role can be based from Stockholm, Coimbatore or Chennai.
Key areas of responsibilities:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the product traceability and compliance segment to generate leads and drive sales growth.
- Conduct market research to identify potential customers, market trends, and competitive analysis.
- Engage with prospects through various channels, including cold calling, email outreach, networking events, and industry conferences.
- Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers, stakeholders, and influencers within target organizations.
- Understand customer needs, pain points, and business challenges to effectively position our SaaS solution.
- Conduct product demonstrations and deliver compelling presentations to showcase the value proposition and benefits of our product.
- Collaborate closely with the marketing teams to develop and implement effective lead generation strategies and campaigns.
- Prepare and deliver solution decks, proposals, and sales contracts to prospects, ensuring alignment with their requirements and objectives.
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to product traceability and compliance.
- Continuously enhance product knowledge and sales skills through training, self-learning, and professional development.
You have:
- 2-5 years of proven experience in business development or sales roles, preferably in the SaaS industry or related fields.
- Strong understanding of the product traceability and compliance segment, including relevant regulations and industry dynamics.
- Demonstrated track record of achieving and exceeding targets.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and build relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- Proactive and self-motivated, with a "hunter" mentality and a willingness to hustle to generate leads and close deals.
- Ability to effectively present complex concepts and solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Analytical mindset and data-driven decision-making abilities.
- Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales productivity tools.
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field is preferred.
